Inspired By The Past

I started looking through some of my old work and thinking about what i enjoyed working with the most. I've worked from various starting points from mechanical components to 18th Century fashion. I found that one i really enjoyed working with was nature and its decomposition. The textures really intrigued me and inspired a lot of samples and techniques. So I think that this could be a good simple starting point for my self written brief as I know its something I enjoyed before. I experimented with a variety of stitched and dyed samples and felt really interested by imitating textures and surfaces. 

This could be an interesting starting point for me and I feel I can experiment with techniques and skills I have learnt since this past project. So the next step is visual inspiration to get me started.
