Ok, So the idea of this new project is to really find out and explore where we believe our work fits and where we'd like it to fit! After a tutorial my tutor advised I spend some time looking through fashion magazines/journals and see which designers keep popping up. She also said that sometimes the best places to start are the most simple. So I think over Christmas Ill consider some past projects I have done and see which starting points I seemed to work best from and go from there. I want to really try and push myself to explore more in this project and produce some much more intricate samples.
We also need to choose a live brief competition to enter along side out project to show interaction with the industry. So thats another thing ill have to think about! Theres everything from interiors to fashion surface pattern, so I really need to figure out where my work will best fit.
So until the next tutorial its all think think think!
