As I feel at this point I am more textiles for fashion based I had to look at designers that I liked as inspiration and an indication of where my work might fit. However I have only pinpointed particular styles in colour and shape and not in textiles and its techniques as my specialism is embroidery I will need to explore different areas. To help me with inspiration I did a similar mood board task and created two mood boards of techniques and embroidery styles I found inspiring.
I am particularly inspired by the use of fabric manipulation. Creating something much more tactile by specific sewing techniques. I am also drawn to heavy embroidery on top of layered materials and fabrics. I feel these could be an inspiration in my work.
