In all my pas projects I have been told to try and up my scale and come out of the sketchbook and experiment on a larger scale. Soooo, one of the first things I have done before I get too into this project and totally forget is experiment with large scale. Ive scaled right up to A2 and just gone mad with paints and inks and did my own mark making workshop. Working in larger scale definitely gave me a much more sense of freedom and allowed me to be much more expressive and experimental. It was actually really beneficial as I found I was coming up with shapes and marks I had not really noticed before.
