Today I began creating a few samples based on my drawings so far, I have concentrated on the line drawing and used both machine and hand embroidery. Using my drawings I have tried to start creating a sense of texture and abstract pattern I can see within my photographs. Here are just a few of the things I have been working on.
Hand embroidery with thick wool thread and hand dyed calico fabric.
